“Fitness on Fire opened it’s doors on March 14, 2015. We have dedicated our work to building a community that cares about your health & fitness. We believe that being connected in a community is a neccessary key for you to reach your goals in life and in fitness. Having private, semi-private, or group training classes, pushes you beyond what you thought you could’ve accomplished on your own. We absolutely love what we do here! We have dedicated our lives to our clients and only offer exceptional sessions!

Founders, Josh and Haydee Graves, have been in the fitness industry for over 10 years each. Josh was a former Club Manager for multiple “big box” gyms, Fitness Manager of some of the biggest training gyms in Orange County, and Olympic Committee Ambassador at the 2010 & 2012 games.

Through Fitness On Fire, they hoped to create a community of individuals that choose to make fitness a lifestyle and live their lives better. Josh and Haydee met while working at 24 Hour Fitness 10 years ago. They both are passionate about the work they do and the lives they get to help influence in a positive way.”

There’s a classic divide between Washington, D.C., and Silicon Valley. Tech companies speak a different language and are moving at light-speed. Rachel Post, a former business journalist in Silicon Valley and former VP of Branded Content at Guardian Labs US, explores the boundaries and intersections of data and ethics.

Many media outlets have their own proprietary analytics software to track exactly where people click on a page, how far they scroll, where they go next and where they came from…allowing for real-time shifts in headlines and photos to meet the immediate demands of reader interests. The user experience is crafted on the spot by algorithms and technology.

From Facebook to autonomous vehicles, we’re navigating the ethics surrounding data collection real-time as new technologies and ways of collecting data are invented. It goes beyond what data is collected – to how it’s collected, who collects it and has access to it and where it’s stored.
